About Social Care Direct

Social Care Direct was formed in February 2006 to improve the standards of Out of Hours services to the public.

We provide a complete front line social work service for all client groups.

We can provide elements of the full service; for example, appropriate adults service, call handling social and housing calls, duty cover approved mental health professionals.

We provide consultancy and training in social care.

Our operations base is a specialist call-handling centre where we work side by side with the regional out of hours GP and Nursing services.

We understand that our partners are looking for innovation and best value and need to be confident that their clients are safe.

We provide quality social care services based on the skills, commitment and experience of our social workers, call handlers, trainers and managers.

We specialize in out of hours social care, integrated with out of hours health services.
